Numerous Clothing and Shoes Donation Bins are placed throughout the township.  The Ewing Green Team is in the process of mapping them for your convenience.  The map below provides locations identified as of December 5, 2014.


Donations should be gently used.

HomeFront is a local community service organization located in Lawrenceville dedicated to ending homelessness.  They accept a variety of donations including new or gently used shoes and clothing.  These are given to clients, free of charge, at their FreeStore. The FreeStore is organized like a department store, allowing clients to shop for the things they need.

Donations are collected by truck, sorted, and sold through their thrift store.  There are also a number of donation bins placed around Ewing.  See their Donation Guidelines.  Check the map for locations.

The Salvation Army accepts clothing that is clean and in good condition, Check out their donation page for specifics.

You can either drop off your donation or arrange for pick up via their website at their Donate Goods page. Type in your zip code and hit Go and you will land at a donation specific page where you can fill out the form to find out if pickup service is available, (or call 1-800-SA-TRUCK.

You can generate a list of goods to be donated from their online site that you will be able to use for tax purposes. You will also be given a receipt if you drop off goods. Check out their Donation Value Guide page for more information.

Vietnam Veterans of America

Donations to this non profit organization helps to generate funds to take care of returning soldiers and service men and women.  They provides pickup (usually with 24 hours) for all types of goods including used shoes and clothing.  Schedule an online donation pickup for almost anything small and light enough for the driver to carry.

The Ewing Township Animal Shelter, located behind the Ewing municipal building, is an Easel site.  They will accept unwearable clothes, sheets and towels for use as pet bedding.   See their Donation Guidelines page for additional suggestions.
