Goodwill
Goodwill accepts a plethora of items from your household, used clothing  and accessories, toys, books, household goods, kitchen-ware, furniture, and much more.   Common sense restrictions are enforced, i.e. they will not accept clothing that is badly soiled, stained, or wet/damp.   They will not accept mattresses and waterbeds.  Check out their donations page for lists of what they will and will not accept.  You can also donate your unwanted vehicle!  They also offer a Valuation Guide for tax purposes.

E-waste Recycling
Through a partnership with Vintage Tech Recyclers, Goodwill responsibly recycles millions of pounds of e-waste each year.  Just bring your e-waste to the nearest donation center.

Medical Equipment
Gently used and no longer needed medical equipment can be donated at the Goodwill building right next door to the donation center on Olden Ave.

HomeFront
HomeFront is a local community service organization located in Lawrenceville dedicated to ending homelessness.  They accept a variety of donations including new or gently used shoes and clothing.  These are given to clients, free of charge, at their FreeStore. The FreeStore is organized like a department store, allowing clients to shop for the things they need.

Rescue Mission of Trenton
The Rescue Mission of Trenton is a non-profit organization set up exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to help change the lives of those less fortunate in our community.  Donations are collected by truck, sorted, and sold through their thrift store.  There are also a number of donation bins placed around Ewing.  See their Donation Guidelines.  Check the map for locations.

You can either drop off your donation or arrange for pick up via their website at their Donate Goods page.  Type in your zip code and hit Go and you will land at a donation specific page where you can fill out the form to find out if pickup service is available, (or call 1-800-SA-TRUCK.)

When a Ewing Zip Code was typed in the search box, the following two drop off sites were listed.  In addition, there are a number of clothing donation boxes around town.

The Salvation Army accepts clothing that is clean and in good condition, large appliances (including TVs, refrigerators, washing machines…), furniture and rugs, including mattresses, a long list of household goods such as towels, lamps, coffee makers, bakeware, dishes, etc. small appliances, electronics, bicycles, lawn mowers and more. Check out their donation page for specifics.  Please only donate items in working, and good condition.  You may also donate your unwanted vehicle (and it need not be in working order).

You can generate a list of goods to be donated from their online site that you will be able to use for tax purposes. You will also be given a receipt if you drop off goods. Check out their Donation Value Guide page for more information.

Vietnam Veterans of America
Donations to this non profit organization helps to generate funds to take care of returning soldiers and service men and women.  They provides pickup (usually with 24 hours) for all types of goods including used shoes and clothing.  Schedule an online donation pickup for almost anything small and light enough for the driver to carry.
