Ewing Township provides a Waste Drop Off Convenience Center for Ewing homeowners that accepts a variety of construction materials. These materials are sorted by Township staff and 60%-80% are recycled using the services at Mercer Group Recycling! Items include:
- Construction debris
- Doors and windows
- Lumber
- Sheetrock

Requirements: Proof of Ewing residency, which must be a Valid NJ Driver License, a current tax bill or a utility bill is required. The township Public Works Department provides more information at http://ewingnj.org/public-works/brush-bulk-waste/.
Habitat of Trenton ReStore
A Reuse option is to donate gently used items to Trenton’s Habitat for Humanity ReStore. They accept:
- lumber, doors and windows
- flooring , including carpet, wood, vinyl, rugs, ceramic tile
All donations must be in working condition, with no stains or tears. Check out their donations page for specifics.

The site, as are the rest of Ewing’s government buildings, is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reopening depends upon NJ’s success is combating the disease.
