It’s October and once again it’s shredding season.
We are all looking forward to the beautiful change of seasons. Fall is the best time of the year to think about fall cleaning, including cleaning out your storage areas or file cabinets in your home and shredding all paper you have saved up! Ewing Township’s upcoming Document Shredding Event will help you put this task behind you.
Mayor Bert Steinmann invites you to dispose of your SENSITIVE DOCUMENTS safely and securely at Ewing’s final Shred Day of the year this weekend , Saturday, October 14th from 9 am – 1 pm at the Ewing Municipal Building front parking lot. Materials from businesses are not accepted and Ewing residents will be required to provide Proof of Residency. Because this is an extremely popular program, please be prepared to spend a few minutes waiting in line. The event takes place rain or shine, and document shredding will be done on site.

The event will be held in the front parking area of the Municipal Complex at 2 Jake Garzio Drive. This free event is for Township residents only and provides a safe and secure way to clean out old checks, bills and any confidential documents that need proper disposal. Materials will not be accepted from businesses and Ewing residents will be required to provide Proof of Residency.
Because this is an extremely popular program, please be prepared to spend a few minutes waiting in line. For your safety and the safety of others, citizens will be required to stay in their cars while workers remove your shredding items from your car for you. This event will take place rain or shine.

The Mercer County Improvement Authority will be hosting its April Document Shredding event this Saturday, April 29th from 9 am – 12 pm.
in Lot 4 of 651 South Broad Street in Trenton (across from the Mercer County Administration Building). The event will be held rain or shine.
A maximum of eight boxes and/or Bags of Paper will be accepted. No Household chemicals will be accepted. This event is for Mercer County residents only, NO commercial businesses allowed. Proof of residency is required (Driver’s license).

A maximum of eight boxes and/or bags of paper per vehicle will be accepted. This event is for paper only, no household chemicals will be accepted.
This Shred Day is open to Mercer County residents only; no commercial businesses will be allowed.

COVID Precautions
For your safety and the safety of others face masks must be worn, and all citizens will be required to stay in their cars while workers remove your shredding items from your car for you. Items to be shredded should be placed in your trunk or rear cargo area. Please do not get out of your car while waiting in line or while your items are being shredded.
